Re Voicemail: Twilio detection isn't great. Highlighting for folks that are thinking ab this functionality. It's very natural - at least 60% of calls don't get picked up, but you don't want nothing. Orum has shown leaving voicemails can yield spectacular results. What we did to overcome Twilio's failure to detect was: include a block in your script saying "*if you hear the person asking for a recording, say this*". You have to prompt engineer to pick up on a range of diff voicemail recordings. Ours is specific to the cold calling we've done so far. As far as I can tell, you can't reference the "beep" in the script. I've tried several times 🙂
