essentially the answer is yes. you must have 'good data hygiene' as in clean up your knowledge base and clearly label things. Make sure it doesnt contradict itself. For example if you lazy-scrape a whole website what if they have an old archived page that states different business hours? now the LLM may find that first or something like that. so hygiene dilligence must be on point of course but yes the point of vapi team adding that easy doc upload on the web interface was so that you can do precisely that i made a demo for my buddies company by just select all copy pasting his main web pages and throwing into a txt file and uploading it to that same knowledge base you are referring to.
