Vapi is a strong platform but with turn-taking it is currently behind Sindarin, and definitely behind gpt-4o's voice mode. For many use cases, the user may take time to think. At the moment, the assistant often interrupts while in the middle of a sentence Our only option is to increase the wait time but that delays all responses. Instead what's needed is better handling of Turn Taking Approach 1: Improve your intent detection. It should not interrupt when the user most likely has more to say e.g. "Yes that could be..." Approach 2: Let us calibrate how likely the assistant is to think the user is done A combination of both Approaches would be ideal
