I appreciate your feedback. I will take those points into consideration. Thank you very much. We did not post a compensation because it all depends on the deliverables and it changes on a project by project basis (if it's a 5 hour job on a 1 week project then hourly makes sense, but if this is a 3 month long project then the hourly rate would not work if I have someone on for 2 months straight on a full time basis. So we need to consider a weekly/ daily rate). We are a dev-ops agency, and so we work on a project by project basis. The point of the application was to interview developers that we felt could hit the ground running on our projects and when we scope the next project and realize we will need additional development capacity they would be on our short list of people to contact based on their skill set and the project required seniority. Based on the project scope and fee negotiated with the client we can then make sense of what we are able to offer them, while also considering the specific complexity of the deliverable they would be responsible for. So as I am sure you can appreciate we are interviewing to select half a dozen qualified developers from Junior to Senior and we of course explain to them we will be in contact once we have a project we think they might fit in. At that point they can let us know if they are interested. If the developers are experienced enough we might even have them help us scope and price the offer to the client so we make sure everyone can be as satisfied as possible, while also keeping in mind the entire project scope and total fee for the client.
