yup! understood. thats what i was referring to when I said "good thing thats disabled" just for sake of clarity this is like the only server I dont have muted out of around 100 so I heard the ping, checked announcement, then figured i'd say hello to the community as I do sometimes.. at which point I saw randos trying and failing to ping everyone i admin alotta communities and I have found that many times discord users simply havent realized that trying to ping everyone is rude - so when I see them do it I try to inform them that its considered rude in case they do not know Sorry for any confusion @Sahil !
