People are going to miss over this and it's one of the biggest things.
Make is amazing but people are building these crazy automations, and making there bill crazy.
Here is an example. I am using Jannis cold caller template as an example.
With 10 modules, your scenario is relatively complex. Here's how operations might accumulate:
First module: 1 operation
Remaining 9 modules: Operations depend on the number of data bundles processed
Data Volume
The number of data bundles greatly impacts operation count:
If each module processes 1 bundle: 1 + (9 * 1) = 10 operations per run
If each module processes 10 bundles: 1 + (9 * 10) = 91 operations per run
Execution Frequency
How often your scenario runs affects how quickly you'll use operations:
Running hourly: 24 times per day
Running daily: Once per day
Plan Limits
Operations available depend on your Make.com plan:
Free Plan: 1,000 operations/month
Core Plan: Starts at 10,000 operations/month
Pro Plan: Starts at 10,000 operations/month with usage flexibility
Estimation Example
Let's assume your scenario processes 10 data bundles and runs hourly:
Operations per run: 91
Runs per day: 24
Daily operations: 91 * 24 = 2,184
Monthly operations (30 days): 2,184 * 30 = 65,520
In this case:
Free Plan: Operations would run out in less than 1 day
Core Plan (10,000 ops): Operations would run out in about 4-5 days
Pro Plan (150,000 ops): Operations would last about 68-69 days
