hi how we can integrate auto attendant with 3CX PBX
v
@Harry Hello! Integrating an auto attendant with a 3CX PBX system typically involves configuring the 3CX system to use an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) feature, which acts as an auto attendant to direct callers based on their input. Here are the general steps you might follow: 1. **Access the 3CX Management Console**: You'll need administrative access to the 3CX Management Console to make changes to the system. 2. **Create an IVR**: Within the console, you can create a new IVR which will serve as your auto attendant. You'll define the greeting message and the options that callers can choose from. 3. **Record or Upload Greetings**: Record or upload the audio files for your greetings and menu options. 4. **Configure IVR Prompts**: Set up the prompts that correspond to the different options in your IVR menu. 5. **Define Destination Rules**: For each option, you'll need to define what happens when a caller selects it. This could be transferring to an extension, another IVR, a queue, etc. 6. **Test the IVR**: Before going live, make sure to test the IVR to ensure that all paths work as expected. 7. **Go Live**: Once testing is complete and you're satisfied with the configuration, you can set the IVR to be the first point of contact for incoming calls. For specific instructions, you would need to refer to the 3CX documentation or contact their support team, as the exact steps can vary based on the version of the 3CX system and the complexity of your requirements. If you need assistance with the integration or have any specific questions about the process, please let me know!

Hi @Shubham Bajaj , I am also interested in this question. Could you give some more info on how that would work?

Hey @Th0maasss if your telephony provider supports SIP then you can use your local phone number. The process requires VOIP SIP Trunking enabled and setup over your telephony provider side.
