I checked the help and searched discord. Did not find an answer since I purchased number through vapi I dont think there is Twiliiio or vonage account to try and block the number from thank you. Also trying to forward calls to the assistant but not workiong on my iphone which might be because of "Live Voicemail" if this is correct or common could you confirm that. I called verizon they said on their end it all looks good for setup but something not letting it forward must be the phone. Need to figure one phone out before I rollout the others thanks.

@JoshuaPhillips I'm glad you reached out for assistance. Let's address your concerns one by one. 1. **Blocking Numbers**: If you need to block a number and you've purchased your number through VAPI, you don't need a Twilio or Vonage account to manage this. You can block numbers directly through the VAPI dashboard or by using the appropriate API endpoint. If you need guidance on how to do this, please let me know, and I can provide more detailed instructions. 2. **Call Forwarding to Assistant**: If call forwarding to your assistant is not working on your iPhone, and you suspect it might be due to "Live Voicemail," we can look into this further. Live Voicemail could indeed interfere with call forwarding if it's picking up the call before it gets forwarded. To troubleshoot this, you might want to temporarily disable Live Voicemail to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, you'll know that's the cause, and we can explore solutions that allow both features to work together. 3. **Carrier Setup**: Since Verizon has confirmed that everything looks good on their end, the issue might indeed be with the phone settings. To ensure that call forwarding is set up correctly on your iPhone, you can follow these steps: - Go to Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding. - Turn on Call Forwarding and enter the number you want to forward calls to. If you've already done this and it's still not working, it could be a compatibility issue with the VAPI service or a specific setting that needs to be adjusted. To assist you further, I may need more information about how you've set up call forwarding and any specific error messages you're receiving. If you can provide those details, I'll do my best to help you resolve the issue. If you'd like me to guide you through blocking a number or troubleshooting the call forwarding issue, please let me know, and I'll be happy to assist!

@Vapi yes pplease walk me through the call blocking on the dashboard
v
@JoshuaPhillips Certainly! To block a number through the VAPI dashboard, please follow these steps: 1. **Log in to the VAPI Dashboard**: Use your credentials to log into the VAPI dashboard where you manage your account and numbers. 2. **Navigate to the Numbers Section**: Once logged in, look for the section where your purchased numbers are listed. This is typically labeled as "Numbers," "Manage Numbers," or something similar. 3. **Select the Number**: Find and select the number you want to manage. There might be an option like "Number Settings" or "Manage" associated with the number. 4. **Access Blocking Settings**: Within the number's settings, look for a tab or option labeled "Call Blocking," "Blocklist," or "Blocked Numbers." 5. **Add a Number to Block**: There should be an option to add a new number to the blocklist. Enter the phone number you wish to block and confirm the action. 6. **Save Changes**: Make sure to save any changes you've made to ensure that the number is successfully blocked. Please note that the exact steps may vary slightly depending on the specific interface of the VAPI dashboard you are using. If these steps do not match what you see on your dashboard, or if you encounter any issues, please let me know, and I can provide further assistance or clarify any confusion. If you're unable to find the call blocking feature or if it's not available in your dashboard, it's possible that this functionality might need to be implemented via an API call or by contacting VAPI support directly for assistance.

@Vapi I do not see the "numbers settings" or "manage" option in the phone numbers section of the dashboard do you have a photo of this?
v
@JoshuaPhillips I apologize for any confusion, but as a text-based support bot, I'm unable to provide photos or visual aids. However, I can guide you through the process with more detailed instructions. If you're in the "Phone Numbers" section and you don't see "Number Settings" or "Manage," you may need to look for a different way to access the settings for your specific number. Here's another approach you can try: 1. **List Phone Numbers**: In the dashboard, there should be an option to view all your purchased phone numbers. This is often labeled as "List Phone Numbers." 2. **Select Your Number**: Click on the specific phone number you want to manage. This action might take you to a detailed view of that number's settings and options. 3. **Look for Blocking Options**: In the detailed view, there might be a section for call handling or privacy settings where you can find options to block specific numbers. If you still can't find the option to block numbers, it's possible that this feature may not be available directly through the dashboard, and you might need to use an API call to manage blocking settings. The API Reference section of the documentation should provide the necessary endpoints and instructions for managing call blocking via the API. Should you need further assistance with using the API or if you have any other questions, please let me know, and I'll be happy to help. If the feature is not available or you're encountering difficulties, it may be best to contact VAPI support directly for more specific guidance.
