Idea use case: I call a user to their landline. But I need their mobile number contact. I want the end-user to type their phone number (key presses) from their phone - rather than pronounce their mobile number by voice. Why? This allows to make sure that the assistant can note down the correct mobile number - rather than noting the number by voice, because the transcriber does not note down the number correctly. To my knowledge, the VAPI assistant cannot recognize phone key presses, right? Or can it? Question: can Vapi assistant recognize phone key presses from end users? I see there is a functionality called DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency = dialKeypadFunction) tones, which are the sounds generated when phone keys are pressed. Assistants have the ability to send DTMF tones using a dialKeypad function. But it is a function for the assistants, not for the user, right?
