@sj Hello! I'm here to help you with your concerns. Regarding the issue where the assistant continues to speak after transferring the call to a human, this sounds like it could be a configuration issue with the call transfer settings. It's important to ensure that the assistant is programmed to stop all interactions once the transfer command is initiated. As for the inability to interrupt the assistant during its first message, this could be related to how the assistant's interaction model is designed. Typically, the assistant should allow for interruptions if it's configured to handle such events. This might require adjusting the assistant's settings to enable barge-in capabilities during speech output. If you need assistance with adjusting these settings or if you have any specific configurations in mind, please let me know, and I can guide you through the process or provide more detailed support.

@Vapi how to enable barge-in capabilities
v
@sj Enabling barge-in capabilities is typically a feature that needs to be configured within the voice assistant platform you are using. Here's a general approach to enable barge-in: 1. **Voice Platform Settings**: Access the settings of your voice assistant platform. Look for options related to speech recognition or interaction model. 2. **Interaction Model Configuration**: Modify the interaction model to allow for interruptions. This might involve setting properties like
barge-in
or
interruptible
to
true
for the speech output elements. 3. **Speech Recognition Tuning**: Ensure that the speech recognition system is tuned to detect when a user starts speaking, which signals that the assistant should stop talking and start listening. 4. **Testing**: After making changes, test the assistant to ensure that it stops speaking when a user starts talking and that it can accurately capture the user's input. If you're using a specific voice API or platform, you may need to refer to the documentation for exact instructions on how to enable barge-in capabilities. If you provide me with the details of the platform or API you're using, I can give you more precise guidance.

@Shubham Bajaj sorry for tagging manually. Ask for help button isn't working on my end.

Hey @sj no need to say sorry, can you help me with call id?
s
I don't have the call ids yet (i'll ask for it) but can you provide any possible bug causes for the transfer thing? And can you also confirm if it is possible to interrupt the assistant when it's saying the first message @Shubham Bajaj? Thanks so much!
s
1. Without looking at the call id, I cannot help you out. 2. During the first message agent cannot be interrupted, it's un-interruptable say request.
@sj please share the call id.
