Hi everyone, I am reaching out to seek assistance with an issue we’re experiencing in our implementation while using Claude Sonnet by Anthropic through Vapi AI. Currently, we’re encountering a problem where the AI asks multiple questions simultaneously, particularly when following up on initial responses. This behavior disrupts the flow and overwhelms the user with several questions at once, rather than following a more natural, one-question-at-a-time approach. For example, if the AI asks, "Do you have any past hospitalizations?" and the user responds "Yes," it immediately asks all related follow-up questions, such as "What was the reason for your hospitalization?" "When did this occur?" and "Where did it happen?" all at once, instead of sequentially. Ideally, the AI should ask each follow-up question individually and wait for the user’s response before proceeding to the next. I have carefully followed the prompt engineering guidelines provided in your documentation to ensure proper configuration; however, the issue is still persisting. Could you please advise if there is any way to adjust the AI configuration to support single-question follow-ups and prevent multiple questions from being asked at once? also it is not understanding some words correctly like if I say female it responds with email can someone help?
