How to get a transcript from an inbound transient ...

Hello, I created a voice assistant that handles inbound calls, and is a transient assistant that is able to tailor it's responses to unique user situations, however, when I run the webhook on make.com, and then finish running the scenario, I can't get an output field from the webhook regarding the transcript of the call, so I can look back on it for internal purposes, how do I fix this?

@Ali M Hello! It sounds like you're looking to retrieve the transcript of the call from your voice assistant. To help you with this, I need to clarify whether the
hipaaEnabled
setting is turned on for your assistant. If
hipaaEnabled
is true, transcripts and recordings are not stored, and you would only receive an end-of-call report. However, if
hipaaEnabled
is false and
recordingEnabled
is true, you should be able to get the transcript unless there's a specific issue with the integration or the webhook setup. Could you please confirm if the
hipaaEnabled
setting is turned on or off for your assistant?
You can continue this conversation by mentioning me in the message.

my hippaEnabled setting is turned off, and audio recoding is turned on @Vapi
v
@Ali M Great, thanks for confirming that
hipaaEnabled
is turned off and
audioRecording
is turned on. Since the settings are correct, the issue might be with the webhook configuration on make.com (formerly Integromat). Here's what you can do to troubleshoot and fix the issue: 1. Check the Webhook Response: Ensure that the webhook configured in make.com is set up to capture the output fields correctly. The response from your voice assistant should include the transcript in the payload. 2. Review the Scenario Logic: In your make.com scenario, make sure that you are processing the webhook's output correctly. There should be a module that captures and logs the transcript from the webhook's data. 3. Test the Webhook: Run a test call and check the make.com scenario logs to see if the transcript data is coming through. If it's not, there might be an issue with the data being sent from the voice assistant to the webhook. 4. Check Documentation: Review the documentation for your voice assistant's API and make.com to ensure that you're handling the data correctly. 5. Contact Support: If you've gone through these steps and still can't resolve the issue, it might be best to contact support for your voice assistant's API or make.com for further assistance. If you need more detailed guidance on any of these steps or have additional questions, please let me know!

Can i send you my JSON of my agent? @Vapi
v
@Ali M Absolutely, you can share the JSON configuration of your agent here. I'll take a look at it and provide you with guidance on how to proceed with capturing the transcript of the call. Please make sure to remove any sensitive information before sharing.
v
@Ali M It seems there might have been an issue with sending the JSON configuration. If you're still looking to share the JSON of your agent, please try to post it again, ensuring that the message contains the actual JSON data. If you encounter any difficulties or have other questions, feel free to let me know!

@Ali M Please ask support for more info on this.

how do I ask support @Vapi
v
@Ali M To ask for support regarding your voice assistant and the issue with the webhook on make.com, you can follow these steps: 1. Voice Assistant Support: - If your voice assistant has a customer support service, you can usually find contact information on the official website or within the documentation provided for the API or service. - Look for a 'Support', 'Help Center', or 'Contact Us' section. - You may find options to contact support via email, phone, or a support ticket system. 2. Make.com (Integromat) Support: - Visit the make.com website and log in to your account. - Navigate to the 'Help Center' or 'Support' section. - You can search for articles related to webhooks and handling outputs. - If you can't find a solution in the Help Center, look for a way to submit a support request or contact their support team directly. 3. Community Forums: - Both your voice assistant and make.com may have community forums where you can ask questions. Other users or the support team may be able to help you with your issue. 4. Documentation: - Review the documentation for both services thoroughly. There might be a section dedicated to troubleshooting or FAQs that could address your issue. When contacting support, provide as much detail as possible about your issue, including the steps you've already taken to try to resolve it, any error messages you're receiving, and the JSON configuration of your agent (with sensitive information removed). If you need further assistance with contacting support or have additional questions, please let me know!
