When creating a Knowledge Base for VAPI, it's important to include comprehensive and relevant information that will help the assistant provide accurate and helpful responses. Here's what you should consider including:
1. **Services**: Detailed descriptions of the services you offer, including any variations or custom options available.
2. **Objections**: Common concerns or questions that users may have, along with well-crafted responses to address these objections.
3. **Business History**: Information about the history of your business, its mission, values, and any other background information that might be pertinent to users.
For each topic, it's generally a good idea to upload separate documents. This helps keep the information organized and makes it easier for the system to retrieve the most relevant information in response to a query.
Regarding URLs, while you can include a document with links to your website and landing pages, the system may not be able to directly access these links to pull information in real-time unless it has been designed with that capability. You would need to check the specific capabilities of VAPI to determine if it can extract information from live web pages.
When creating prompts, you should aim to provide enough context to guide the assistant in generating a relevant response, but avoid including information that's already in the Knowledge Base. The assistant should be able to pull the necessary information from the Knowledge Base without it being repeated in the prompt.
