Hey guys I am new to Vapi, I just built a few scenarios in make, and the basics had been running smoothly UNTIL, I adjusted the prompt slightly and from then The Vapi Webhoo as well as the Make Webhook started to run the automation immediatly without fetching any information. Does anyone know this issue and have a solution? Please let me know. Thanks

@ps_9999 Hello and welcome to VAPI! It's great to hear that you've been exploring and building scenarios with Make. It sounds like you're experiencing an issue where your webhooks are triggering automations without properly fetching information. This could be due to several reasons, such as an incorrect configuration of the webhook, an issue with the prompt adjustments, or a problem with the data being passed to the webhook. To help you better, could you please provide more details about the changes you made to the prompt and any error messages you might be receiving? Additionally, it would be helpful to know if you've checked the logs in Make for any clues as to why the automation is running immediately. Once I have more context, I'll do my best to assist you in resolving this issue. If the problem persists and requires a deeper investigation, you might need to reach out to Make's support for more specialized assistance.
You can continue this conversation by mentioning me in the message.

The make scenario runs without error, but without information, so no info on that side. The Prompt adjustment was just to check if the appointments dae is a saturday or sunday. When I rolled it back to the initial prompt. THe issue did not disappear. Unfortunately this is the only info I can give you. Regarding the Webhook setup. It all worked fine and I did not make any changes. @User

Hey @ps_9999 To help track down this issue, could you share: - The call ID - When exactly this happened (the timestamp) - What response you expected to get - What response you actually got instead This would really help me figure out what went wrong!

@Shubham Bajaj awesome thanks, will deliver in a few hours
@Shubham Bajaj Call ID: 3712f90d-7e42-48db-b79d-031ae24a17fb Timestamp: 1733859190370 Expected response: Toolcall to my Check Availability Tool with the following properties: Name, DateOfWeek, Artist, DateAndTime (those are missing and there was no toolcall) Response I got: "I apologize, but there isn't enough information in the provided transcript to create a meaningful 2-3 sentence summary. The transcript only contains a greeting from Sarah at Sarah Nails, without any customer response or further conversation. More context would be needed to summarize the call effectively." The FLow ran completely and successfull, so debugging is difficult. Does this help to tackle the issue or do you need further info?

@ps_9999 understood your problem is related to prompting and I have looked into your prompt as well. Would you mind giveing a shot to Vapi prompting guide: https://docs.vapi.ai/prompting-guide
