Like, if my internet doesn't work due to being on the absolute edge of the internet working, but the mobile network service for phone calls is still working and I need some sort of intel now. The already setup VAPI knowledge base is ready to be used to recall the data that I need. I think it can do function calling which can retrieve from a live database. When your internet does not work and what you need isn't preloaded on your device, then it's too late unless you have another way of getting that data. I mean, most of things we would need to do unless we are in some sort of first responder-like behavior all the time where if things don't happen now, it's all over (hence why ASI needs to exist asap), it won't really matter to have the phone AI for. I mean sure, people can put their 'nuke' codes through a VAPI-like service and use that as a remote backup. It would still work as it's just the numbers for the authorization. A lot of things can happen without Any authorization, but when things are setup to have auth and other steps first, knowing what the exact sequence is, is important. We are approaching a moment in time where, things could rapidly get nuts in an instant and having all the solutions ready to use is a good idea to setup now (while things are still working).
