@aathithyapravin Absolutely, I'd be happy to guide you through the process of integrating your existing Exotel phone numbers with Vapi for both inbound and outbound calls. Since you're looking to integrate numbers from an external telephony provider, you'll need to import them into your Vapi account. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you with the integration: 1. **Log in to Your Vapi Dashboard**: Start by logging into your Vapi account and navigate to the dashboard. 2. **Navigate to Phone Numbers Section**: Look for the section where you can manage your phone numbers. 3. **Choose to Import Numbers**: Within the phone numbers section, you should find an option to import numbers from external providers. 4. **Enter Exotel Phone Numbers**: You will need to enter the details of the Exotel phone numbers that you wish to integrate. 5. **Verification Process**: There might be a verification process to ensure that you own the numbers you are trying to import. Follow the instructions provided by Vapi to complete this step. 6. **Configure Routing for Inbound Calls**: Once your numbers are imported, you can set up routing for inbound calls according to your business needs. This could involve directing calls to specific endpoints, IVR systems, or setting up call queues. 7. **Set Up Outbound Calls**: For outbound calls, you'll need to configure your dialing settings, such as caller ID preferences and any other relevant settings that Vapi offers. 8. **Test the Integration**: After setting up both inbound and outbound configurations, it's important to test the integration to ensure that everything is working as expected. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance during the process, please don't hesitate to reach out to Vapi support for more detailed guidance.

When I choose to import numbers, Vapi only offers 2 options Twilio or Vonage. There's no other option like external providers option
v
@aathithyapravin I apologize for the confusion. If Vapi only offers the option to import numbers from Twilio or Vonage and you have Exotel numbers, you will need to reach out to Vapi support for assistance with importing numbers from a provider that is not directly supported in the dashboard. Please contact Vapi support for more information on how to proceed with importing your Exotel phone numbers. They may have a process for handling numbers from providers that are not listed or they might provide you with a custom solution.

Please give me the email

@aathithyapravin You can use your local numbers via SIP Trunking. First, check with your telephony provider if they support SIP trunking. If they do, you'll be able to use your local numbers with VAPI, and I can then guide you through the rest of the setup process.
