I don't ever think there was docs for that. When it first come out it only was the endpoint for it.

I visited the page yesterday and it provided a guide of creating an assistant with knowledge base, step by step process, but now it returns 404. It redirected inside the Files tab in the Dashboard when there were no files. Still does that though, only returns 404.

You are correct. That is for the standard KB though. Not custom: https://docs.vapi.ai/knowledgebase Not sure why they say custom on here but its the native KB.
