I have got the exotel number, can someone suggest how to import in vapi. when we try to import, it has only two options, twilio & vonage
v
@DrPradeep Absolutely, I can guide you through the process. Since Vapi currently supports importing numbers from Twilio and Vonage, you would need to transfer your Exotel number to one of these providers first. Once the number is with Twilio or Vonage, you can easily import it into your Vapi account using the dashboard. Here's a general outline of the steps you would need to take: 1. Port your Exotel number to Twilio or Vonage. This process will involve contacting both Exotel and the provider you choose to ensure the number is transferred properly. 2. Once the number is ported to Twilio or Vonage, log in to your Vapi dashboard. 3. Navigate to the section where you can import numbers. 4. Select the provider you ported your number to (Twilio or Vonage). 5. Follow the prompts to complete the import process. If you need assistance with porting your number from Exotel to Twilio or Vonage, please reach out to their respective support teams for detailed instructions on the porting process. Once your number is with Twilio or Vonage, if you need any further assistance with importing it into Vapi, please let me know!

@DrPradeep To use Indian phone numbers with Vapi, you need to check with your telephony provider if they support SIP trunking. If they do, then I will share the further process to set up SIP trunking using your telephony provider and Vapi.
