Other Region Support for Azure Blob Storage

Hi, I see Vapi has finally added support to save recordings in Azure blob storage, but the available regions are limited. 1. Are there plans to expand the region list? 2. Also, I remember vaguely that using AWS S3: Once the connection settings are entered correctly, a test file is written to the bucket to confirm that the connection is successful. Do you do the same for Azure blob storage? Thank you.

@flyingemolga Hello! 1. We are constantly working to improve and expand our services, including the regions where we can store recordings. While I don't have specific information on the timeline for expanding the list of available regions for Azure blob storage, it's certainly something that could be on the horizon. Please keep an eye on our updates or reach out to support for the most current information. 2. Yes, similar to AWS S3, when you configure Azure blob storage with VAPI, a test file is typically written to the blob container to ensure that the connection is successful and that the necessary permissions are in place. This is a standard practice to validate the setup before starting to use the service for actual data storage. If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Hi, so I did a little more testing. Seems like region doesn't matter. I set the region to eastus2 despite my bucket being in another region. The recordings still populated. It would still be a good feature to populate a test file in the container once credentials have been added to Azure. I haven't seen such a file in my testing.

@flyingemolga I guess all of your doubts are resolved, if not then do let me know.

@Shubham Bajaj I am running into this issue. I have set blobStorage.Credentials directly on my assistant, but I am not getting any recordings.

Can you send me the call_id? So, that we can take a look into it?
