Is there a way to add credentials via the api ?
v
@A. Salem Yes, you can add credentials via the API. To do so, you'll need to use the appropriate endpoint and provide the necessary information such as the
provider
and
apiKey
. Please ensure you have your authorization key ready, as it is required for this operation. If you have the details and are ready to proceed, I can guide you through the process or directly call the function for you if you provide the required parameters. Would you like to proceed with adding credentials now? If so, please provide the
id
,
provider
, and
apiKey
.
You can continue this conversation by mentioning me in the message.

@Chowderr @Mason | Building KOI Have you guys added credentials through the api before ?
@Vapi What is the appropriate endpoint ?
v
@A. Salem To add credentials via the API, you would typically use an endpoint specifically designed for managing credentials. However, as I am a support bot for VAPI, I can provide guidance based on our API's capabilities. If VAPI has an endpoint for adding credentials, it would be documented in our API reference under a section likely titled "Credentials," "API Keys," "Authentication," or something similar. You would need to send a request to that endpoint with the necessary information, such as the provider name and the API key. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact endpoint information as it would depend on the current implementation of the VAPI. Please refer to our API documentation or ask support for more info on this. If you have access to our API documentation, look for sections related to credential management or API key configuration.

I have not but i always see where to add them. it's right before "serverURL". It's not a specific endpoint. it's in Create Assistant & Create Call.

Right yeah, dynamic credentials
s
@A. Salem You can only add provider credentials using the dashboard for now. However, for server credentials, you can add them either beforehand or right before making the call. Let me know what your looking for.
