Everyone how's it going. Hoping to strike up a good conversation here with this and get everyones honest opinions on thoughts on this. So to start, don't know if everyone has seen this yet, my co-founder @Carter and I just were informed today. https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DOC-408396A1.pdf For those who are TL:DR--Basically what this says is that the FCC adopted new rules that essentially are banning cold calling, using a robo-dialler/artifical call anything that's automated unless you have one-to-one consent from the person (e.g I email you and ask you if I can cold call you and you agree... lmao in what world), starting Jan 27th. We interpret this as lead lists like zoominfo, apollo etc will be basically illegal to use in the states now, which obviously poses major roadblocks. If you saw my earlier post, we've built a robust system that will scrape thousands of leads for the clients ICP from those mentioned pay-per-lead softwares, verify the numbers, bring the the highest quality leads possible and than we cold call them using agents we've built. Obviously now this is going to be useless if how we are interpreting the new laws their adopting is correct. So for those in here who also do cold outreach using agents in the sates, what are your plans going forward on this? Obviously there are easy answers like well just target other countries, but for us being from Canada, the states are obviously a gold mine, almost 10x the population, way more money etc. Would love to hear some opinions on this!
