Hello @Shubham Bajaj, I need some assistance. Could you please confirm if it’s possible to create an agent using Vapi.ai in the Hebrew language? If it is possible, would you be able to recommend a voice provider that currently supports Hebrew? Thank you for your help!

@Ch Adeel Hello! Yes, it is indeed possible to create an agent using Vapi.ai that supports the Hebrew language. Vapi.ai offers multilingual support, which includes Hebrew among other languages. As for recommending a voice provider that currently supports Hebrew, you can consider using an LLM provider or a Fine-Tuned OpenAI Model that includes support for the Hebrew language. These providers often have a range of voices and languages available, including Hebrew. If you need more specific information or assistance in setting up your agent in Hebrew, please feel free to ask, and I'll be glad to help you further!

Hello @User can someone please help me with this?
@Shubham Bajaj
s
@Ch Adeel You can use Gladia Transcriber and 11labs as voice providers for Hebrew Langauge. Let me know if you need any further help.
c
@Shubham Bajaj but I am not able to find any voice for Hebrew language in voice library
s
@Ch Adeel sorry for being wrong here, you can try using play-ht else you have to use custom-voice.
c
@Shubham Bajaj for playHt vapi shows only two voices in voice library but it says no data available for those voices
s
@Ch Adeel Could you please attempt to use it now? I have synchronized the voices, and it should be functional at this time.
i
I still have the same issue...
s
@idotr7 you have to synchronize the voice using your private key. Change the provider according to you if required.
Copy code
curl --location 'https://api.vapi.ai/voice-library/sync' \
--header 'Authorization: Bearer user-org-private-key' \
--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
--data '{
    "providers": ["11labs"]
}'
i
ok i did that and got tons of voices id, but none of them are in hebrew
k
For Hebrew you first need to check if any voice provider supports it, and if yes then you can use it with Vapi. You can look for language support in dashboard.
i
i know they do have Hebrew, i am using playht api for hebrew but in Vapi the voice id i put manually is making error
k
can you share the screenshot of the error your getting along with voiceId?

Hey Can you try 11labs v2.5 model with herbew language?
i
there is no Hebrew in 11labs
k
You can use Azure TTS they support it.
i
i don't have azure cred, and play is much better. why can't i use play if they have this voice and i used it in the api?
k
You don't need to provide Azure Cred and the reason why you can't use playht because we don't support multilingual from playht yet.
i
