tts guides usually say use hyphens or periods to create pauses like ... or ---. so like telling the ai to output emails or codes like this J --- O ---- H--- N or 1..2..3..4 so TTS can read it with pauses. Tbh though this gets really mix results and sometimes just gets the ai spitting out nonsense.. The best way to get AI to slow down and say something is use openai realtime api or openai tts models.. those actually allow you to prompt the ai to slow down its speech by telling it to speak slowly in the prompt & I usually get good results with that.
