02/07/2025, 9:32 PMHave we fixed the issue where the assistant keeps saying "sorry a few more seconds" when calling tools even though the delay message is set to empty string ? is there a way to currently stop it ?

02/08/2025, 1:00 AMIt happens on all calls atm I believe, to replicate it just say anything while an assistant is in the middle of calling a tool. first response would be the response delay message, but after that if the user says anything the AI just replies with "Sorry a few more seconds" till it receives the tool call response.

02/08/2025, 1:28 AMIn general I would prefer if we had an option to completely turn off Vapi's tool handling - pretty easy to write ones own, which then obviously is perfectly tailored to the use-case - but right now these custom solutions conflict with the pretty inflexible present tool handling system, which one can't disable.
