Hello, I’m trying to obtain a phone number within a specific state (Tennessee) using Free Vapi Number, specifically with the 423 area code. However, the system only offers numbers from out-of-state area codes. All phone area codes in Tennessee are not available and I need to secure one. I also attempted to acquire a number with a different area code in another state but encountered the same issue, with only out-of-state options available. Is there a way to secure a phone number with a state-specific area code? use twilio for better px num options

Unfortunately, my client prefers not to use Twilio.

Then you will use Telnyx.

I am having the same issue but it seems to fail with any area code entered.
