Deafness Bug

I have been really struggling with the deafness bug lately. Using gladia, gpt 4o and cartesia.
To be precise the AI does not seem to hear me and keeps checking for my presence by saying can you hear me despite me speaking. Mostly it happens right from the outset. Sometimes it happens in the middle of the call.
I have tried with different models and voices but all I hear is, can you hear me? can you hear me?
Can you please suggest what I need to do to resolve this?

- The call ID
- When exactly this happened (the timestamp)
- What response you expected to get
- What response you actually got instead
This would really help us figure out what went wrong!
