Not getting video recording

Hey team! Apologies if this issue has been asked before. I am using Vapi's web based calling and testing on the dashboard itself. I have HIPAA disabled, audio and video recording enabled. Browser permissions are also enabled. But for some reason, I am not getting any video recordings in my AWS S3 bucket. I am getting the audio recordings (both stereo and mono) so my S3 config is working, just not getting any video recordings. Hey @AKG, your videoRecording option is disabled. Can you enable it and try making another call? I know you have shared the screenshot showing it's enabled but you might have disabled by then your were making the web call. \[ { "artifact_plan": { "videoRecordingEnabled": false } } \]

Hey! It has still not resolved. I have toggled the recording switch multiple times and even the network tab, I can see that the video recording is enabled. I have also deleted my AWS credentials but still not getting any video recordings in my Vapi dashboard. I have tried calling the assistant from both Vapi dashboard as well as my application. In both scenarios, I am not receiving any video file.
@User tagging since I need urgent assistance. Thanks!

@AKG can you share the recent call ID where you have videoRecordingEnabled set to true and w/o aws credentials.
@AKG For your information, if I discover that the video is not saved, I will escalate this matter to the daily team. However, I require the recent call ID, as the shared call ID’s “videoRecordingEnabled” property is set to false.

Okay so I am getting the daily call url like -
https://daily-co-call-recordings.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/vapi/YYYY/XXXX
Getting such a url in both cases - with and without AWS credentials. The audio recordings are coming fine in my AWS S3 bucket but not the videos. They are still coming as daily urls as I mentioned above. Any particular reason for this and any workarounds?
s
@AKG I checked about in our code, as of know we are using daily s3 bucket for storing video call recordings because of this you don't see them stored in your bucket. For storing video call recordings in your bucket you can create an feature request over here: https://roadmap.vapi.ai
Do let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks for your response! I have a posted a feature request - https://roadmap.vapi.ai/feature-requests/p/ability-to-get-call-artifacts-video-recordings-specifically-in-aws-s3. Also, may I know if there's an expiry date to the video artifacts in the Daily's s3 bucket?
k
As of know there is no expiry data for video call recordings in S3 bucket but you can download and save them in yours for best of your use.
