I understand I'm not the first to report this, but I haven't seen a solution yet. 
Both in my own implementation and in the demo client (vapi.ai/?demo...), if I'm connected to a bluetooth device BEFORE starting the cal, the sound goes out to the device speakers, instead of the headset. Things seem to work fine on Mac. Haven't tested other devices yet.

The funny thing is, if I connect to the bluetooth device DURING the call, the stream is then correctly directed there.

Any idea? 🙏🏻

I am experiencing the same  issue with Bluetooth during calls. If Bluetooth is already turned on before I start a call, the audio does not route correctly to my device. However, if I turn on Bluetooth during the call, the audio switches properly to my device.

To illustrate this issue, here are two call examples:

Call ID [a296d30d-b72a-4b2e-adff-55302ec11daa]  → Bluetooth was turned on before the call, and the audio did not route correctly.
Call ID [c240c672-0a1c-4807-8996-0c014b6819ab] → Bluetooth was turned on during the call, and the audio switched correctly to my device.
Could you please help me resolve this critical issue?
