Vapi won’t dial my number

Can anyone help? So I’m trying to test out the system but when I call myself it doesn’t work. If I call my friends number it works, if I call my Google voice it works, but if I call my own personal number it will not work and it says “silence timed out” but it never rings or comes through on my end. Has anyone else had this?

It is possible that your virtual number is being flagged as spam by your telephony provider, causing it to directly go to voicemail.

Do you mean disable voicemail on the number or on my real phone number or the vapi virtual number I’m using?

To clarify, I suggest attempting to make another call by disabling the voicemail feature on your real phone number.
