Good morning, I don't understand why I'm loading the PDF file, it appears to be loaded correctly, I can see it on the screen, but it doesn't appear in the Knowledge Base. Can anyone tell me why this happens? Thank you.

Vapi in house Knowledge Base (meaning you have not provided your own Provider Key for Trieve) are down right now, so any weird behavior can/may be related to that, I would try again when knowledge bases start working. No idea when that will be, Vapi hasn't really even acknowledged yet the KB issue

@Nick K - CEO @ Trieve have you seen instances where a KB query from Vapi to Trieve returns markdown which then causes the LLM to read that out (e.g. say hash hash hash)? Hmm, I would try changing your system prompt to adjust for this

Okay, I can mess with that, any recommendations? Or is it maybe as simple as: "Do not return anything in markdown format to the user"
Haven't tested a lot, but for anyone else dealing with this, this line in the prompt seemed to work: "Never return markdown to the customer. Always ensure plain text only is returned."

Yeah, beauty of single prompt systems like Vapi is that it's really that easy

@LLMUser995 You can use voice formatting plan to remove markdown content from LLM output before it goes to voice provider.

Can you provide more details here, documentation, etc? What is "voice formatting plan" for instance?
