thank you for your response. In the video, I see that the Knowledge section has been removed from the Assistant settings (but I still have it). Do I have to use Google on the Assistant side, or would the system not work if I continue with OpenAI? Or can the tools use a different LLM while the Assistant runs on another LLM? You just need to remove the selected file in the Knowledge base section and use the files section. That's it.

Thanks, but I’m a bit confused about this. If I’m selecting a file from the ‘Files’ section in the Assistant settings, do I still need to use the tool section shown in the video if there’s only one knowledge source? Since we can also select a file within the tool, this is where my confusion comes from.

Nope, just use the file section. During the call, we’ll set up a query tool for you. All you need to do is share the details in the prompt, and we’ll handle the rest.

Sahil, thank you so much for your information, you’ve been really helpful. I just have one last question. We love Vapi and are very happy using it with our team. Now, we are presenting offers to our customers, and our usage will increase significantly in a short time. We completely understand that you are working hard to improve the product. However, sometimes new features overwrite old settings, which forces us to go through another know-how process. What would you recommend we do to ensure stability?

We usually push all the changes that are backward compatible, and in case there is an issue, we will take a look into it and get it resolved ASAP. That's all I can say for now :)
