What;s your prompt look like? did you tell it to use the
transferCall
tool with the number to transfer too?
ok also make sure the phone number is valid
i have found this will fail if it tries to transfer to a non-valid/non workng phone number
otherwise may need to ask VAPI team since they could dig deeper on their end

You may need VAPI support since they have a deeper insight into errors i cant get to since i dont work at VAPI. @Shubham Bajaj any ideas?

and dont speak after that until caller says hello

they said I need to spend alteast $1000 a month and should have a contract for SIP Refer so is there any other way to use transfer call in telynx?

When you assign this server event, you are telling VAPI that you want to control how the transfer should be, and eventually you will be charged for the call forwarding. So what VAPI does here is it sends a server request to a server URL asking you to take care of the transfer and eventually end the call by marking it as call forwarded. Because of this, even after doing everything correctly, your calls were not being forwarded or transferred. cc: @AiTitus :)

Hey Parth, simply go to Vapi dashboard and then select your assistant after that select advance tab and scroll down to server messages and unselect this server event.

I tried few youtube demo too where they cretate a small agent and tets transfer call but did not work for me

The call ended reason was: "assistant-forwarded-call" This means the AI assistant forwarded the call to a live agent — in this case, to the number +19142224142.
@Parth0774 can you check in twilio logs what it shows over there?

Ideally it shouldn’t be creating a problem, but I will suggest contact twilio before giving it a try.
