We would like to know and understand better how we can use VAPI for our AI Assistant.
We intend to connect her to GHL and possibly use it for several clients as a pre-qualification step.
Can you let us know if buying credits is the way to pay for the services, or do you have a subscription-based plan so we can be sure that the service won't suddenly go offline due to credits being exhausted.

Hi there! 👋 Thanks for reaching out about using VAPI for your AI Assistant.
I'm unable to provide specific details about connecting VAPI to GHL for pre-qualification steps, as I don't have detailed integration instructions for this specific use case. However, I can definitely help with your payment-related questions and provide some general information about both services.
According to the information I found, VAPI offers both credit-based and subscription-based payment options:
Credit-Based System:
- VAPI primarily uses a credit-based billing system where one credit equals one US dollar ($1 = 1 credit) [(source)](https://docs.vapi.ai/billing/billing-faq)
- New trial accounts receive complimentary credits to get started [(source)](https://docs.vapi.ai/billing/billing-faq)
- After initial credits are used, you can purchase additional credits to continue using the service [(source)](https://discord.com/channels/1211482211119796234/1211483291191083018/threads/1344656349367107667)
- You can buy credits through the billing page on the VAPI dashboard: https://dashboard.vapi.ai/org/billing [(source)](https://discord.com/channels/1211482211119796234/1211483291191083018/threads/1335850580018728980)
Subscription-Based Options:
- VAPI offers Enterprise plans that include features like unlimited concurrency, higher rate limits, and dedicated support [(source)](https://docs.vapi.ai/enterprise/plans)
- These plans may include "Included minutes with volume pricing" [(source)](https://docs.vapi.ai/pricing)
Regarding Service Continuity:
To prevent your service from going offline due to exhausted credits, VAPI offers:
- An auto-reload feature that automatically tops up your credits when they fall below a certain threshold [(source)](https://docs.vapi.ai/billing/billing-faq)
- If credits are exhausted and auto-reload isn't enabled, your wallet will be frozen, preventing calls and add-on purchases [(source)](https://docs.vapi.ai/billing/billing-faq)
