What happens when I switch to the new Billing experience? Do I lose my wallet credits? Am I charged differently?

The new VAPI plan offers 1000 VAPI minutes per month for free. Once consumed, a team member will contact you to upgrade to the Pay as You Go plan. Credits purchased during this or before switching remain unused except for add-ons. Under the new plan, the first 1000 minutes are free, and you'll pay for services using credits after that.

We switched to the new billing experience, where do we see the 1000 minutes? We can only see our wallet balance. It says that we're on the Vapi Startup plan.

Hey Radu, your organization is under a Pay-As-You-Go plan, and under this, you cannot get the VAPI free minutes. If you want, I can convert your organization from Pay-As-You-Go to Trial, then you will get VAPI 1000 free minutes.

If we do that, do we need our current wallet balance?
Also, is it 1000 free minutes in the sense of not paying the 0.05$ Vapi charge per minute, or is it completely free (including the 3rd party provider costs)?

The Vapi 1000 minutes plan is completely free and includes other service providers as well, whereas venue shift to pay as you go. You will have to pay for the service is used even including Vapi through your wallet.

You have to do it by yourself. Visit the organization or billing page, and there click on the new billing experience button, after that your account will be converted into the new plan.

Hey Radu, I checked with my team, and they're saying it's best to convert to the free or free billing plan through the dashboard. You have to go on the organization page and click on "New Billing Experience." Your org will be converted to it. If I do it manually, I have to do it at 5-6 places, and if any human error is left, it will be difficult for us to revert.
