concurrency limit

I noticed that the UI not providing clear information on the concurrency limit. I am going to rollout outbound call next week for 50-100 calls at once. I note that the concurrent limit is based on an account level. I know I need to pay $10/month for "Reserved Concurrency (Call Lines)", how many additional calls do I get for $10/month? I have BYO from Twilio. The documentation on concurrency call also have been removed from Documentation page.

I understand your concern about the concurrency limits, especially with your upcoming rollout of 50-100 outbound calls next week. I've found that while the default concurrency limit is 10 simultaneous calls and Reserved Concurrency Lines cost $10/month, I couldn't find the exact number of additional concurrent calls you get for that price. I've escalated your question to our support team to get you a precise answer. They'll be able to provide you with the specific information about how many additional concurrent calls you'll get for each $10/month payment. In the meantime, I can confirm that even with BYO from Twilio, the concurrency limit still applies at the account level, though you do bypass the daily outbound call limit of 10 calls that applies to Vapi-purchased numbers. Someone from our team will get back to you shortly with the specific information you need for your rollout. 😊

Hey Ivy, you get a concurrency line for $10/month. If you purchase 10 concurrency lines, you have to pay $100/month, and it's applied at the account level, irrespective of your telephony. By default, you are given 10. If you purchase more, it will be the total 20, and then you can only make 20 calls simultaneously or at the same time.

Thanks @Shubham Bajaj , we are building a self service app which we will be using to sell to other client. Their setup will be connected to my account so we have super admin. In this case if I have 100 clients in the same account, all these clients will be sharing 10 concurrency? Buying more concurrency is going to increase the costs and $10 per month is a lot if I need to have 100 concurrency at once. How do we get unlimited concurrency? without paying $100 a month.

Hi, checking if this is resolved/solved for you?
i
Hi @Shubham Bajaj , i purchase 1 concurrent call, my understanding is $10 is for 1 x 10 calls. But I had a look at this and its only giving me 1 extra call. is this correct that each concurrent call is $10?
k
There is some confusion in your understanding. Each concurrent call or each concurrent line purchase will give you one extra concurrent line only. That means if you purchase one concurrent line or one concurrent call, you can only make a total of 11 inbound and outbound calls at the same time. By default, we give you 10 concurrent lines transfers. You end up having 11 concurrent lines when you purchase one more.
i
Noted that is going to be an expensive one for my use case
as one client will want to push 100 concurrent calls at the same time
k
If that's the case, you have to purchase additional 90 concurrent calls, and each month you have to pay approximately $900.
