@Maχ when u say "robot mode" what do you mean? Then voice is metallic or sounds like it passes through an auto-tune, like in a Cher music video?

Ok, that sounds like a networking issue between vapi and telnyx. As I've some other complaints today regarding call failures, it may be related.

mmh okay, it's true that at the very beginning when telnyx was available for vapi, the assistant only said the first message, and no matter what you said, the assistant no longer responded, and now she responds but with several sentences, as if she had latency

Hey Max, the audio mixup or the audio distortion was because of drift detected from Telnyx side. 👋 Hi @Shubham Bajaj I'm following up on this audio quality issue with Telnyx because I'm experiencing exactly the same problem described earlier in this thread. When I call my assistant using a Telnyx number connected to VAPI, my voice in the recording is completely crushed, choppy, and hard to understand — it sounds robotic or metallic. You replied on April 23rd saying this was due to some drift detected on Telnyx's side, and that since their system is still new, a few hiccups were to be expected. But now it’s already May 12th — almost a month later — and I’m still running into the same problem. I find it surprising that this hasn’t improved at all. Have there been any updates or follow-ups on this issue since then? Also Max, if you’re around — did it get better on your end? Did you switch to another solution or find a workaround that helped?
