Server URL Timeout Seconds is not saving
# support

There's a known bug in the Vapi UI that prevents settings from saving correctly. As a workaround, try using the API to set your timeout seconds:
Copy code
json
{
  "timeoutSeconds": 30
}
According to Vapi support: "Please use API for adding server secrets and headers for some time as we are working on dashboard v2 and it will be fixed in the next release." Source: - [Discord conversation about UI saving issues](https://discord.com/channels/1211482211119796234/1331991829717188680)

sure, but there is no endpoint to set org settings. Or if there is please show me the endpoint?
k
Ensure your server responds within 7.5 secs, and if needed, override the timeout setting using the API instead of the dashboard, since the UI currently doesn’t save changes

When is the next release planned for? Having the same issue with updating assistants. Don't mind waiting for the UI issue to be resolved but if it will be a few days then I'll use the API.
k
It's currently being released page by page. I would recommend using the API for now. If you need help setting that up let me know.

hey mason. im fine using the api to set it, but i cant find the endpoint which let me set my organization settings, can u please send it to me?
k
Okay, my apologies, there is no endpoint for this. This is an internal issue, I'll get someone on this. Can you send me your account email and your org_id? Also, please send a loom video of this happening as well.
