Has anyone gotten their AI to reliably call a transfer_call tool?
We find that our bot (GPT4o) quite often transfers the call when it encounters a voicemail.
Here's our prompt:
"6. If the lead has no more questions, tell them you're going to transfer them to their advisor, who can share more about next steps. Ask if they can hold?
6.1 If they say yes, use the transfer_call tool to transfer the call. DO NOT use the transfer_call tool for other scenarios like voicemail."
The line about voicemail was added later on, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
The AI is transferring at the end of calls like this, which is really strange:
User: Message.
Agent: Hello,
User: Record your message.
User: the pound key when
User: you're done.
