So I am trying to figure out how long the free plan (1000 minutes free) lasts. Is this going to stay forever? If you stay under 1000 minutes a month you would never get charged this doesn‘t make sense so I am trying to figure out if there is anything I am missing here.

We have recently introduced a new plan called VAPI Free Minutes Plan. Under this plan, you will be given 1000 VAPI minutes per month. Once you are about to consume this minutes limit or reach this threshold, someone from our team will contact you asking you to upgrade to Pay As You Go plan where you will be able to pay for VAPI services and use VAPI services by purchasing credits. You won't be getting this 1000 minutes anymore. Once you move to Pay As You Go plan, you will be able to see the call cost under the Assistant section and even the Call Logs page. As of now, under the free VAPI plan, you won't be able to see any call cost even the logs page. If in case it's required for you and you are about to launch your product, share with me your call ID, and I will share with you the cost of the call.

Thank you for your reply. If I want to go live with the Assistant and I consume less than 1000 minutes per month I could stay on the Free Plan? I am just trying to figure out if there is a catch or something I have overlooked here.

Yes your correct if you consume less than 1k minutes a month you will stay under this plan.

Hello Team, The pricing plan I would like to understand 1. If we buy the phone number from Vapi and if use that number for incoming and outgoing calls, will there be any additional charges? 2. We would like to understand what other pricing we have to consider, like LLM and Transcription similarly we want to know what other things we have to add as per call charges?
