What do you mean "miss a call"? A voice agent isn't supposed to "miss calls".

Well, in such a case, my recommendation would be to front your calls to VAPI with another platform, such as Cloudonix, that will "re-route" the call or do something else with it, in a case where the call isn't picked up by the AI agnent.

Hello @Nir Simionovich (CEO@Cloudonix) , I’m not trying to confuse anyone, nor do I have any such intention. I was simply asking how I should handle all possible scenarios when VAPI is down—not just due to concurrency issues, but in any case.

you can use fallbackDestination by any chance if VAPI is down. call comes into number -> no agent found or vapi is down -> goes to fallback number
