What happens if I make more calls than my concurrency limit allows? Does it queue up the calls and make them once a concurrency opens up or does the API just error out in that case?

If you exceed your concurrency limit, extra calls are not queued, they fail with an error, so you must manage concurrency on your end or request a higher limit..
