Hello, @Shubham Bajaj @Kings_big💫 Is this where I open a support ticket? Out of 14 times that a person answered the phone there were only 3 times that the person was able to hear the assistant speaking. Every other time the person says hello multiple times while the assistant is speaking as though they can not hear anything, or the assistant never responds. I have attached screenshots of the transcripts of many of the calls from today. This appears to be a known "deafness bug" with Vapi. Try switching your transcriber from Deepgram to Whisper or Azure, as this has resolved similar issues for other users: 1. Go to your Vapi dashboard 2. Navigate to your assistant configuration 3. This likely due to timing or audio stream issues, add a delay before the assistant speaks, ensure your transcriber is compatible..

With deepgram I am getting this issue so I have tried Azure and Talksciber but Im getting the same isue. I have also tried adding up to 3.5 seconds to the wait seconds in the start speaking plan. This did not resolve the issue although there is a 5 to 6 second delay before the assistant speaks befor the change and a 7 to 8 second delay after the wait period change. If you say hello then count to 7 or 8 it is an extremely long and awkward silence. Although I prefer a specific Vapi voice I have tried other voices providers like 11Labs with different transcribers but I am getting the same result.

Try reducing wait time, disabling Smart Endpointing, enabling streaming mode, and optimizing your network.

So I have started the wait time at 0.1 second and tried moving it up little by little until I reached 3.5 seconds. The assistant still starts speaking in the recording but can not be heard during the actual call. I have disabled smart endpointing as well. As for the network I am using a setup optimized for gaming and streaming. I also do real time high frequency scalping on the futures markets using this setup on 1 second charts. The network is definitely not the issue. I can not find any documentation on enabling streaming unless it is with a custom transcriber. Do I need to find a custom Transcriber to fix this issue?

The user audio is experiencing a mix-up or out-of-order issue due to drift detection for shared call IDs. This problem originates from your telephony side and not from our end.
