is there a difference btween using a third party like Twilio compared to SIP integration when it comes to trying to integrate a a phone platform like Ring Central?

Using Twilio offers flexible, multi-channel integration voice, SMS, via APIs and is easier to pair with Vapi, but may introduce latency and reliability issues. Direct SIP integration with RingCentral is more reliable and lower-latency, but requires deeper technical expertise and offers less flexibility.

I'm unsure at the moment which direction to go whether twilio or direct SIP integration but we want Vapi to be our company's receptionist that can transfer calls to the correct department and answer FAQs

Go for SIP integration, if you want direct control with existing telephony systems to handle transfers and FAQs.

Ring Central doesn't offer SIP termination URI or a dedicated SIP server for each customer. Their SIP trunking services are designed to work with shared infrastructure, which may not provide the isolation required for reliable IP-based authentication in shared environments like Vapi's. so is that still recommended?
