That said, I wanted to open a discussion (and maybe get some clarity) on how we can optimize or review the cost structure per minute, especially for those of us building high-volume or long-duration agents. Specifically: Are there any current or upcoming ways to reduce the per-minute cost of VAPI usage? How are costs broken down exactly — VAPI’s own margin, transcription (e.g. Whisper or Deepgram), voice providers, etc.? Would love to hear thoughts from the team or other devs here — because as things scale, those extra cents per minute really add up. Thanks in advance 🙏
