i have bought a number on united world teleco (+974) since no other providers have qatar virtual phone numbers. i need to assign it to my agent. the number supports sip trunk but i couldnt set it up. i have created an sip trunk configuration but if i call the number it shows unavailable.

As far as I can recall, numbers in Saudi Arabia can connect to servers in Saudi Arabia only. This issue is same in the UAE.

Thank you <@1102203628346953868> for your insights. Unfortunately i havent found a solution yet. The number i bought is qatar number and i am inly expecting qatar numbers to call and receive calls for my agent.Still trying to find a solution

following (after finding out twilio doesn't support phone numbers for Qatar for outbound calls)

<@193136644293918722> correct. The only provider that support outbound and inbound calls is uwt. However, i was able to forward calls from uwt number to the free number on vapi, but since the free number is a US  number they are charging me for international fees. I was hoping i can assign the number from uwt directly to my vapi agent ysing sip trunk instead of forwarding to a different number

<@1369299660862132334> That is highly dependant on how UWT works - as in various cases, a direct connection with VAPI won't be possible (various regulatory restrictions). If you would like, I'll be happy to examine the issue with you and see if Cloudonix can assist.
