Hey there, I'm trying to connect my assistant with my workflow, but when I go to the "Model" section and click on "Provider" to search for "Vapi", it's not showing up as an option.
v
If "Vapi" is not showing up as a provider in your workflow's "Model" section, try the following: - Refresh the dashboard and ensure you are logged in with the correct account. - If the issue persists, it may be a permissions or account setup problem—reach out to [Vapi support](support@vapi.ai) or ask in the [Vapi Discord community](https://discord.com/invite/pUFNcf2WmH) for direct assistance. This should help you resolve the missing provider option quickly. Sources: - [Workflows Documentation](https://docs.vapi.ai/workflows) - [Vapi Support](https://docs.vapi.ai/support)

Select “Custom LLM,” enter your endpoint URL, add credentials if needed, and save to connect your assistant with your workflow. https://docs.vapi.ai/customization/custom-llm/using-your-server
Use custom LLM like OpenAI, OpenRouter..

is there any other way to connect the assistant with workflow because in assistant it not showing to connect or select workflow option
c
First create and publish a workflow, then go to the assistant settings where the option to attach a workflow will appear. If it doesn’t, ensure the workflow is saved, supported by the provider, and try refreshing the dashboard.
s
workflow is already saved and in assistant setting there is not option to attact a workflow
c
Hey, currently workflows are separate from assistants and won't be able to be connected together. If you would like to use workflows, you will have to configure the conversation node with your preferred voice, LLM, and transcriber settings.
v
But then how can we make a call to workflow like we did with the assistant
j
Yes, I'm having the same problem. How do we connect a phone number to a workflow?
c
On the dashboard go to the phone numbers section and select which workflow you would like to assign.
