my gohighlevel check calendar availability is returning no available time slots every single time, no matter what date and time i check. why is this??
k
Check that the calendarId is correct, availability hours are set, slot and buffer settings allow openings, external calendar conflicts are cleared, timezones match, and use GoHighLevel’s troubleshooting tool to identify blocked slots..

Hey dude, thanks for helping. I know this might sound strange, but it worked for me one time when i first configured the tool and tested. Then, without changing anything, I tested again and then the agent kept saying that there are no available time slots. If youre willing to discuss, I can share the transcript and the logs. And then hopefully we can see what could be going wrong

Reconnect your external calendar Google/Outlook, recheck calendar assignments in GoHighLevel, clear any cached settings if possible, and use the troubleshooting tool to identify blocked slots or sync errors..

I found the reason why it is not working. The reason why it is not working is that each time i call the tool, the tool is querying the calendar at a random date in the past.
Copy code
{
  "role": "tool_calls",
  "time": 1749736055052,
  "message": "",
  "toolCalls": [
    {
      "id": "call_T5E7mLqwyFIKWtXtuIT2YLWN",
      "type": "function",
      "function": {
        "name": "get_free_slots",
        "arguments": "{\n  \"calendarId\": \"7Abo2M2XXRZxmnUCM4kP\",\n  \"timeZone\": \"Australia/Brisbane\",\n  \"startDate\": 1713081600000,\n  \"endDate\": 1713686400000\n}"
      }
    }
  ],
  "secondsFromStart": 46.372
}
Can you give any advice on how i can gain control over which values to put into startDate and endDate?
k
Use the schedulePlan field with ISO 8601 UTC timestamps for earliestAt and latestAt to define the exact or flexible time window for the outbound call..
c
thanks!
