On random call attempts, sometimes the assistant fails to detect my audio. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't 11b0ac4f-e548-4342-9f42-43dcc49b3599

Hello! The same is happening to me. I am using telnyx via SIP Trunk, do you know how to solve it? Thanks!
k
Hi Saien | Exousia AI, It seems you're encountering the
call.in-progress.error-assistant-did-not-receive-customer-audio
issue, where the assistant isn't receiving your audio occasionally. This can happen due to microphone permission issues or temporary network disruptions. Here are a few steps and considerations to potentially resolve this issue: 1. **Microphone Permissions**: Ensure that you have given the necessary permissions for microphone access during each call. 2. **Network Stability**: Check your network connectivity to minimize disruptions that might prevent audio from being transmitted. 3. **Consistent Testing Environment**: Try to maintain a consistent testing setup to check if specific conditions trigger the issue. 4. **Logs and Data**: Review the call logs for any patterns when the issue arises. This might help in identifying if the problem happens under certain circumstances. 5. **Call ID Tracking**: Keep track of call IDs for failed attempts to provide a comprehensive report if needed for further analysis. If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider collecting detailed logs and reporting it using the guidelines provided in the [issue reporting guide](https://docs.vapi.ai/issue-reporting) for more targeted assistance.

Hello! It is supposed that MistV2 from Rime AI supports Spanish Voices, but when I try using those voices, they are not working as expected
k
For alternative voice choices, here is a list: Natural Spanish: - **Deepgram Aura**: aura-luna-es or aura-stella-es (specifically trained for Spanish) - **ElevenLabs**: Any multilingual voice for high quality Cost-Effective: - **OpenAI**: alloy, nova, or shimmer (good Spanish support) Ultra-Low Latency: - **Cartesia**: Fast streaming TTS with Spanish support If you would like to continue configuring Rime AI, we can explore options for resolving the issue with the provider.

Hello, trying to use Deepgram Aura, it is throwing the following error: voice.voiceId must be one of the following values: asteria, luna, stella, athena, hera, orion, arcas, perseus, angus, orpheus, helios, zeus, thalia, andromeda, helena, apollo, arcas, aries, amalthea, asteria, athena, atlas, aurora, callista, cora, cordelia, delia, draco, electra, harmonia, hera, hermes, hyperion, iris, janus, juno, jupiter, luna, mars, minerva, neptune, odysseus, ophelia, orion, orpheus, pandora, phoebe, pluto, saturn, selene, theia, vesta, zeus In this list there is no support for spanish versions, the same that happens with Rime AI. Could you check both with Rime and with Deepgram how to use spanish voices versions? Thanks!
By the way, Cartesia is giving me a nice result so thank you for the recommendation, but I would like to try cheaper options like Rime AI and Deepgram Aura
k
Let me look into this and get back to you
My mistake. Deepgram aura actually only supports English and cartesia is a good alternative despite the cost. You could offset the cost by using a cheaper transcriber or LLM

We noticed that Aura-2 is currently offering Spanish voices, and we're very interested in this (e.g., aura-2-nestor-es: https://developers.deepgram.com/docs/tts-models). However, we're currently unable to use this voice because VAPI doesn't support it.

If you would like to see that feature on our platform, feel free to add it to the feature request list here -->
