Hi team, we ran into an issue where we had overlapping speech from the agent's side and was really messy. Can you please debug and help us understand how we can prevent this in the future? Here is the call id for reference: 5ee34fc9-3501-426d-bf90-187b02a2bdb3

Hey Raj, I listened to your call and I think you're referring to the part after the 1-minute mark. I understand how frustrating this can be. Could you try using the 11labs voice and let me know how it goes?

Yep I can do that - this happens very rarely though. I was looking to find out what caused it. Is it something on Vapi side of things or was it due to Deepgram?

It seems to be mostly an issue on the telephony provider's side based on similar reports I've seen.

Hmm it happened again with the following id: bb640252-f29e-4f9c-9731-7b461da45aeb and it was using vapi web and not a phone call

Could you try using LiveKit as your smart endpoint? You can find it in the assistant under advanced settings, then go to start speaking plan. Once you've set that up, give it another shot and let me know how it goes.
