ill try again and i'll let you know

Set maxDurationSeconds in the Assistant settings, not the Workflow, updating it in the Workflow has no effect..

But in a Workflow, you are changing "conversational nodes" from time to time, how exactly does one assistant track all the time of the call?

Hey Jonirulah, I sincerely apologize for the delay in our responses this week. We experimented with some process adjustments that didn’t work as intended, and unfortunately, this caused some disruptions. That’s entirely my responsibility. Just a quick note—our team is unavailable on weekends. However, if something urgent or critical comes up, feel free to reach out to me directly, and I’ll assist you. The support issues will be resolved in the coming weeks, and starting Monday, you can expect more consistent and improved support. Thank you so much for your patience and for continuing to stick with us!
j
thanks 🙂

The Assistant tracks total call time centrally, so
maxDurationSeconds
applies across all Workflow nodes and ends the call when the limit is reached, regardless of node changes..

This is my actual JSON, I don't know if am I placing the duration where it should be? Importing JSON to workflow gives no error however I did set 3600 seconds, and the call ended at 10 minutes thanks for the help 🙂 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1395931626084499527/1396663204532326624/message.txt?ex=687ee778&is=687d95f8&hm=9f7a504c8260706ad3f481cccd0ddac027b8b75d64d289025714250c5dedd0da&

Place
maxDurationSeconds
inside the
startCall
node's
properties
, if it's elsewhere, Vapi defaults to 600 secs 10 mins..

thanks ^^
